Sometimes, it feels like some of the most interesting stuff coming out of streamers is international. And we’ll admit the trailer for Netflix’s Unspeakable Sins, a Spanish-language movie, grabbed our attention. Who’s guilty? What exactly happened? Is there going to be a happy ending? What exactly is a happy ending in these circumstances? Who knows.
The logline for the movie reads as follows: A woman trapped in a controlling marriage finds solace in a secret affair with a younger man until it spirals into a dangerous game of survival.
Now, of course, it seems like the question is: who will survive?
