Two actors that we’ll always love the roles that they take – well most of them – are Hailee Steinfeld and Miles Teller. Both are uber talented and the two starring together in a movie together about the winter olympics. It’s a movie that is giving us The Cutting Edge vibes – even though it’s nothing like it.
We can just tell that we’re going to love it and it’s the characters attitudes that sounds like the characters that we’ve been obsessed with for decades.
Paul Downs Colaizzo will be directing from a script that he penned along with Pat Cunnane.
It’s said to be about, “the high-stakes arena of the Winter Olympic Games, a perpetually overlooked skier and a self-sabotaging hockey legend who collide at their breaking points. Their unexpected connection threatens her chance for a medal and his shot at a comeback as they navigate romance and redemption in the Olympic Village.”
On a personal level (hers, not mine) Steinfeld recently got married to her longtime love Josh Allen. Steinfeld has also been having a big year professionally- coming hot off the heels of her movie, Sinner. The movie out did expectations. Steinfeld also returned to music on the soundtrack for Sinner.
We’re excited for this and can’t wait to see it come to fruition. Yes, we’re definitely in our sports movie and television show era.
