Before you ask, yes – we did quite enjoy Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. Maybe it was the nostalgia, maybe it wasn’t. Sometimes we don’t question ourselves. We just understand that we contain multitudes.
We’ve marked our calendars for the two episodes on September 12 and all episodes dropping on Disney+ on October 8th.
We know that with a new season comes news guest stars and this is no different. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place has tapped Zombies 4 star Freya Skye as Piper, What We Do In the Shadows‘ Harvey Guillén as Gossip Stone and Recker Eans as Quentin – all for guest roles in Season 2. But it wouldn’t be Wizards if there wasn’t more and they are definitely more guest stars.
Bill Chott, Sean Whalen, Kirsten Vangsness, Tobias Jelinek, Patrick Bristow and Eleanor Sweeney are also guest starring this season.
The first season was a hit for the channel. In Season 2, it sounds like there is going to be even more wizard drama. The description reads, “Billie grapples with the fact that being part of the Russo family might be more complicated than she thought — especially now that she’s not the only wizard in the house. Thanks to Roman and Milo’s new magical powers, Justin is now tasked with training three young wizardsfor the Family Wizard Competition. As the stakes rise inside and outside the family, a mysterious new threat emerges…one that could unravel the Russos forever.”
Returning for season 2 are David Henrie, Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora and Mimi Gianopulos.
