Anna Pigeon is continuing to add to its cast lineup.
Tracy Spiridakos, the Chicago P.D. alum, is set to lead the USA Network Anna Pigeon series for USA Network. It’s an adaptation of the award-winning mystery series by Nevada Barr. In the books, Anna Pigeon is a National Park Ranger who travels the country solving mysteries in the wilderness and historic locales. And according to Goodreads, Barr draws inspiration from her own time as a park ranger.

Joining Spiridakos as recurring cast members for Season 1 are actors Jordan Sledz, Crystle Lightning, and Nikki Hallow. Sledz is a new name in Hollywood with only a couple credits under his name, including an uncredited role in The Last of Us and the short Swift Current. He’ll be playing “a classically trained actor and a love interest from the leads past” according to Deadline.
As for Lightning, a performing artist from the Enoch Cree Nation in Alberta, Canada, is best known for Diggstown and Ghosts. They’ll be playing Frieda Dierkz, “the dispatcher and backbone of the park” that Anna will be working at “who makes it her business to know everyon else’s business.”
And finally there’s Hallow, best known for her role in the series High School and the films Range Roads and And the Oskar Goes To…. Hallow will be playing Christina Clark “an admin at the Park and a single mother going through a difficult divorce who takes special pride in caring for the rangers.”
Ronnie Rowe Jr., best known for Star Trek: Discovery and Reacher was previously announced to set to join the cast. But unlike the other cast announcements, Rowe Jr. is set to be series regular like Spiridakos. He’ll play Frederick Stanton, “an FBI agent and charismatic wanderer who chases crimes through national parks and keeps his cool” except when it comes to the lead character Anna Pigeon.
