We don’t want to believe it, but very soon we’ll have to say goodbye to Outer Banks. Luckily, new projects are already starting to arrive for the stars who bring our favorite characters to life! That’s the case for Madison Bailey with her new romantic comedy, Maintenance Required. Here’s everything you need to know.

The film is about romance, but also about the struggle of a woman who has to navigate the quintessentially male world: mechanics. She’s that strong and brave woman, but she’s also that woman who’s broken and needs someone to vent to. Only she doesn’t know that “someone” is her greatest enemy. So drama is on the way!

Maintenance Required has a cast full of household names! The film stars Madelaine Petsch as Charlie, the story’s leader. Joining her is Jacob Scipio as Beau, and Madison Bailey—yes, our Kiara from Outer Banks—will play Izzy. Additionally, the film features Katy O’Brien, Inanna Sarkis, Matteo Lane, and Jim Gaffigan.

As for the behind-the-scenes crew, Maintenance Required is directed and co-written by Lacey Uhlemeyer. Co-writers also include Roo Berry and Erin Falconer. The film is produced by Matt Luber, Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Matt Williams.

The Plot:

The official synopsis of the film is: “Charlie, the fiercely independent owner of an all-female mechanic shop, is forced to reevaluate her future when a flashy corporate competitor moves in across the street. Seeking comfort, she turns to an anonymous online confidant – unaware she’s confiding in Beau, the very rival threatening her business. As sparks fly both online and off, the truth threatens to blow everything apart.”

As we can see, the film takes the concept of a blind date to the extreme when Charlie finds her soulmate online, without even knowing his name. But what happens when she discovers that her love is Beau, the same man intent on destroying the business she fought so hard to build?

In true You’ve Got Mail style, Charlie and Beau compete against each other without realizing they have much more in common than they might think. But in the end, they’ll discover that together, they’re capable of anything.
