Welcome back to hell in the Season 2 trailer of Prime Video’s hit animated musical series Hazbin Hotel!
During its freshman season the musical comedy ended with Princess of Hell Charlie fighting for her hotel and the souls she’s been trying to rehabilitate in the hopes of them going to heaven. And we were left reeling as Sir Pentious sacrificed himself and went to heaven, Adam died, and the hotel is destroyed. Also Lilith aka Charlie’s mom. It’s revealed she’s alive.
Now the official Season 2 trailer provides a little more insight into what comes next!
Most notably, the Hazbin Hotel has been rebuilt. And it’s bigger, better, and looks to have its doors open again. But the angels aren’t really around in hopes of causing the next big extermination. Instead, Vox is trying to use Charlie’s platform for his own good as a means of ruling. And you know Charlie isn’t going to just sit there and take it. She’s going to fight. So is Radio Demon.
Then there’s heaven. After all the hard work Charlie put in, Adam’s death, and Sir Pentious making it to heaven, the glorious afterlife above seems to be working with Charlie and not against her. That’s a major departure from Season 1, that had a simple us vs them when it came to heaven and hell. Now the angels are helping Charlie against other forces that want to destroy this delicate balance and the work they’ve done at the Hazbin Hotel.
But will it be enough? We’ll find out when Hazbin Hotel returns for Season 2!
