December can’t get here fast enough. Yes, there are reasons that we would like this dumpster fire of a year to end, but we’re also excited for all of the shows that we have missed aand that will return in December.
Percy Jackson and The Olympians being one of them.
Disney released the character posters for the second season featuring Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Daniel Diemer who joins as Tyson, Percy’s half-brother, Dior Goodjohn as Clarissa La Rue and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan.
Season two of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is based on the second installment of Disney Hyperion’s best-selling book series titled “The Sea of Monsters” by award-winning author Rick Riordan. In the new season, Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.
The second season of the show is based on the second book in the series, Sea of Monsters.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians premieres on Disney+ on December 10th.
