Following the events of Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 11, taking the photos, promo, and synopsis as a starting point, let’s speculate about Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 12 ‘The Rider’!
In this episode, we’re off to the rodeo! Oliver and the team are tackling a rather complicated cowboy case. So complicated, in fact, that they’ll have to investigate on-site, and we’re excited about it! Erika and Dana couldn’t be a better team for this. Plus, it’s sure to be hilarious. But what intrigues us most is that this case brings Beau, a new doctor, to our screens. And we like what we see (wink, wink).
However, judging by the photos, we’ll see a side of the hospital we haven’t seen before, or perhaps this patient will lead us to Beau’s private practice. And we can’t wait! Besides this, we’ve noticed that Oliver isn’t wearing his doctor’s coat. Will he consult with Beau about some aspect of the case? This has us all on tenterhooks because it doesn’t feel right for Oliver to let someone else make the decisions on one of his cases, much less take a few days off, so we can’t wait to see what’s going on.
Speaking of Oliver, Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 12 ‘The Rider,’ introduces a woman who is a sort of friend of his father’s, someone who knows exactly who Oliver is. But we have no idea who she is. Could she be helping Oliver’s father with his illness? That would make sense. Meanwhile, Charlie is still around. His confrontation with Oliver was left hanging, so we expect to see it in this episode.
However, if Charlie is still around, it means Oliver hasn’t told Josh his true identity, but why would Charlie want to stay with a man he hates? We know Charlie is largely responsible for Oliver ending up in the mental institution; the question is whether he’s staying in the hospital waiting for the right moment to break Oliver or just taking advantage of the opportunity when it arises. Either way, we don’t like that Charlie is so close to Dana.
