Is a romance brewing in 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1 Episode 10 “Let It R.I.P.”? Because the photos are really clocking something going on between Blue and Taylor. And honestly, if the show wants us to believe in this romance, they’ve got a lot of work to do.

Blue just recently came off of the realization that his mom Dixie is a liar who lies. And he seems to be spending more time getting to know the other firefighters. While he could be working on his relationship with his brother Ryan, he seems to be flirting with Taylor. In photos for “Let It R.I.P.” they are seen talking to each other all over the place, including a moment where he’s spoon feeding her with Ryan in the back like, “What in the world is happening???”
The reason why we say that 9-1-1: Nashville has a lot of work to do when it comes to a possible Blue and Taylor romance… is because I don’t know enough about them. Blue has spent a huge part of the season struggling to find his place while also being one dimensional as a character. And Taylor… well I know only three things about her: she’s friends with Roxie, her face card has never been declined, and she can sing. If the show wants me to ship them, why don’t they first give them actual character development first. That’s especially true for Taylor.
As for the rest of the gang, Don apparently has been having panic attacks and Roxie has noticed. It definitely stems from the revelation that his family died in a fire in “Pipe Dreams.” So that story isn’t as over as he’d led Blue to believe during their brunch. We also see the team doing some team building sports because hockey is a thing in Nashville (?) (Are they also living in a post Heated Rivalry world?) But more importantly, Cammie is going to grief counseling. So she’s working on her trauma… and maybe is ready to move on with that cute guy she gave her number to in “All Hands.”
