Harry’s first day as a probie is here and of course problems are arising. And it’s not just because Harry is starting a new job and he’s a little nervous. According to the synopsis for 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 10 “Handle with Care” it’s Chimney who is finding having a new probie challenging.
First days are hard, and from the photos ABC released, Harry is mostly fitting in. The photos of Harry and Buck cooking are a clear sign that the latter is taking the former under his wing. And it makes sense. Harry has continuously come to Buck for advice, and of course Buck would be the one to take Harry under his wing just like Bobby did for Buck.

But the more that you look at the photos the more you can see a little tension brewing. There are a couple photos where it seems like Chimney is having a tense talk with Harry. And then there are other photos where it seems like Buck and Eddie have stepped in to talk things out. What we think it comes down to is that being a boss is hard. And it’s even harder when you care about the probie because he’s family and you’ve watched him grow up.
For the rest of the team, it seems like A) there’s a big fire they’re taking on and B) that Hen and Eddie are heading to court. The fire seems like the emergency of the week because of course this is a firefighting show. But the court photos are apparently because a former patient steps back into the picture, bringing with them “old demons” for these two.
