While the series’ main characters have been dying (literally) trying to get out of Fromville, we’ve been dying (thankfully, only figuratively) to go back ever since FROM Season 3 ended with the series’ biggest revelations and most shocking death yet. Well, we’re thrilled to say the wait’s almost over. Get those talismans ready — if you haven’t lost yours yet, that is… — because we finally have a FROM Season 4 release date!
So, when will FROM on MGM+ be back, and what can you expect from the new season? Here’s everything we know.
Synopsis — what to expect
In a press release, the network shared the following:
“In Season Four, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want? Will Jade and Tabitha’s revelation be the key to finally going home? How much longer can Boyd hold the town together, even as his body and mind are falling apart? And what role will the town’s most recent arrival play in the events to come? Season Four will open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed.”
Cast
Because everyone is stuck in the town until they find a way out and/or die, we can expect to see most, if not all, of the FROM cast back for Season 4. (How long they last, on the other hand…we have no idea and wouldn’t spoil you even if we knew something.) For starters, we can confirm that Harold Perrineau (Lost) will return as Boyd Stevens. And Boyd’s not alone. Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls) and Pegah Ghafoori (The Perfect Wedding) are back as Ellis and Fatima.
Additionally, there’s the Matthews family: Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, The Affair) as Tabitha, Hannah Cheramy (Under Wraps, Van Helsing) as Julie, and Simon Webster (Strays) as Ethan. And even though we saw his future demise, we’ll still see Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers) as Jim in FROM Season 4’s current timeline. Whether or not the Julie we saw from the future can save her dad, however, is anybody’s guess at this point. Does Jade count as part of the Matthews family now, considering we know about the ancient ties between him, Tabitha, and the children? We might as well say yes, we guess. But one thing’s for sure: David Alpay will continue to play him.
Also returning:
- Ricky He (The Good Doctor) as Kenny
- Chloe Van Landschoot (Charity, Skin) as Kristi,
- Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice) as Donna,
- Avery Konrad (Honor Society) as Sara,
- Scott McCord (East of Middle West) as Victor and Robert Joy (CSI: NY) as his dad Henry,
- Nathan D. Simmons (Diggstown, This Hour Has 22 Minutes) as Elgin, a character who definitely has some explaining to do after what he did to Fatima!
- Kaelen Ohm (Hit & Run, Eumenides Falls) as Mari,
- Angela Moore (A Series of Unfortunate Events, Maid) as Bakta,
- A.J. Simmons (Reacher) as Randall, and
- Samantha Brown (Y: The Last Man) as Acosta. Here’s hoping Acosta learned something from joining Donna in the search for Fatima and is, you know, a little less trigger happy than she was when she first came to town.
A new name on the cast list? Julia Doyle (Astrid And Lilly Save The World).
Trailer
Although we don’t have a full trailer, the teaser for the new season definitely has us pumped. The first look warns us “KNOWLEDGE…COMES…AT A COST.” Oh, and the Man in Yellow says “what happens next, is my favorite part” with that twisted grin. If nothing else scares you, that ought to.

FROM Season 4 release date
So, when is FROM Season 4, and how can you watch? Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. As always, the series will be available on MGM+.
Is it renewed for Season 5?
As of now, we don’t have any news about a fifth season. But, considering the press release for FROM Season 4 told us “FROM is the most viewed series in the history of the premium network, and has a 96 percent Rotten Tomatoes score,” it’s certainly not out of the question if viewers keep tuning in. And we’ll definitely be doing that.
