We watch a lot of TV and movies! So yeah, we’re fangirling over a lot of things! Each week we come together to highlight all the feels they give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Best Scene of the Week

Raquel: The explosion at the police station on this week’s episode of The Rookie. It was an unexpected and intriguing twist that had my heart pumping fast. I needed to know everyone was okay, and my jaw dropped. I was on the edge of my seat, filled with anxiety. And seeing Lucy save Tim and Celina save everyone else, and the whole day was the icing on the cake.
Lizzie: I actually loved the silly challenge in The Traitors, even if I’m not sure picking Tara for every one of the answers made any sense. But I had so much fun watching the thing, because I was truly on the edge of my seat about whether Rob and Eric were going to get caught. A+ entertainment.
Ship of the Week

Raquel: Chenford!!! A couple who are terrible at getting their Valentine’s Day gifts on time, and then give each other the best gifts ever? A couple who save and make each other better? Signed!
Lizzie: Can I say Johnny and Tara are my platonic ship? I feel like discovering that no one knew they were besties on The Traitors and seeing them be unequivocal about it was delightful. I don’t think they have any chance of winning, but… yeah, I still love them.
Lyra: Not per se shipping them, because I never ship real people, but I really like what I’ve seen so far from Christine and Vic on Love is Blind. They seem to really be all in for this experiment. And the natural chemistry that they have reminds me of season 1 icons Lauren and Cameron. The fact that they haven’t gotten as much camera time because they’re not problematic also speaks well to how far they’re going to make it.
Best Performance of the Week

Raquel: Mekia Cox on The Rookie this week. You can feel how outraged she is that that monster could walk free, but also how angry she is at herself for giving him the chance. And with Wesley for what he did. And, to top it all off, you can also see that she just wants to go back to that moment and prevent it from happening, and how much it hurts her to put distance between herself and Angela.
Jasmine: I have to give props to Grace Van Patten. Lucy tore me to shreds watching her mental breakdown on Tell Me Lies Season 3 Episode 7. The pressure of Stephen holding that tape over her was too much to bear. I was not expecting to cry watching her. I do understand she has not been making the best choices. ESPECIALLY since Stephen came into her life. Looking at the portrait of her pre-Stephen just showed how much Lucy has changed. And Grace has delivered in her performance this season. Lucy is a young girl being tormented by Stephen and that mental abuse is scary. I could feel her fear and anxiety. Those are tough scenes and emotions to play out but she nailed it.
Lizzie: Can I say Bad Bunny in the Super Bowl Halftime show? This technically happened after we published our last version of this article, and it’s literally all I’ve been able to think about this week. Absolutely everything about it was perfect, and it made me feel so proud to understand the message he was trying to send. Also, it was a lot of fun.
Lyra: Rob in The Traitors. He continues doing well in the most unexpected way for me because all I know was that he was a drama llama on Love Island USA. This week he took a new traitor under his wing and it was the right decision. Because Eric could be glorious and an unexpected traitor. But he also seems like a sweetheart who would crumble in the face of any pushback. And that happened by the end of the episode. So yeah, I think Rob is going to win this thing.
Moment that Annoyed Us This Week

Raquel: Nolan telling Bailey to move to Washington because they can overcome the distance. It makes no sense. No marriage can withstand a long-distance relationship forever, and Bailey had already decided to stay.
Jasmine: Evan pulling a Stephen level move on Tell Me Lies Season 3 Episode 7. Taking Bree’s mom to get a drink knowing full well she’s a recovering alcoholic was diabolical. And he did it solely to make Bree need him. That’s gross. And it was very surprising behavior from Evan. I can’t believe how much I’ve grown to dislike him this season.
Lizzie: Love is Blind is back, so… there’s that! Though I was mostly annoyed at the editing this week, because man, that was boring. And I know these men are not as nice as you’re making them look, show. Chris is giving serial killer and Alex for sure cannot be trusted. So, show me!
Lyra: Athena on Drag Race acting like she wasn’t strategizing when it came to her family during the Rate-A-Queen portion of last week’s challenge. Stand on business. You were going to vote for your family no matter what. Why act like you weren’t?
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “I love it. No , I love you” – Tim to Lucy in The Rookie.
