We watch a lot of TV and movies! So yeah, we’re fangirling over a lot of things! Each week we come together to highlight all the feels they give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Best Scene of the Week

Jasmine: A good scene for me is always one that makes my jaw hit the floor. So, I’m definitely going with big mouth Stephen ratting EVERYONE out at Bree and Evans wedding on Tell Me Lies Episode 3×08. I was stunned by the entire sequence. And I couldn’t stop laughing at the mess unraveling. Also, Pippa and Diana knowing when to exit stage left had me dying. They both said we do not have time for this mess at all. And I loved that.
Miah: The most wholesome moment this week has to be from Best Medicine. Doc is usually annoyed with Elaine, but this week showed us that despite their generational differences, Elaine is the best assistant he could have. Elaine picked up groceries and encouraged him to stay in while the town puts on the play the “Blood Factory.” Since nobody else knew, she stayed close by in case he needed assistance and she gave him the all clear (or not) whenever he had to navigate the town. Even Doc’s usual annoyance toward Elaine was lighter, and he seemed genuinely appreciative. It really set in motion the grumpy father figure and cool, overzealous daughter dynamic and just warms my heart.
Rachel: I’m going for the big screen this week and I’m going to single out the final confrontation scene in Crime 101. When Chris Hemsworth’s jewel thief Mike is finally face-to-face with both Mark Ruffalo’s detective and Barry Keoghan’s unbalanced biker, who are both pursuing him, it’s so compelling. It feels like exactly what the film has been building toward. And the performances, especially Keoghan’s, are unforgettable. The tension of this scene perfectly sets up the ending of the film and makes the resolution satisfying.
Ship of the Week

CATHERINE MISSAL, SPENCER HOUSE
Raquel: This won’t surprise anyone, but Chenford!!!! We didn’t get much of them in The Rookie Season 8 Episode 7, but those raunchy jokes and the way their hands lingered together a moment longer than necessary while waiter Tim delivered the “order”? That lived rent-free in our minds all week.
Aracelis: Although we didn’t get to see much of them — and won’t anymore — Bree and Wrigley have to be the ship of the week for me. I would have loved to see more, but there’s only so much we can get, and they gave us everything in the moments we did have, and it was memorable. Bree and Wrigley smiling at each other at the end of this week’s episode of Tell Me Lies went down in history for me. They both know that whole “airing everyone’s business out” situation was hell, but at least their secret is out and they can finally be together — at least that’s how I read it. The whole world was crumbling around them, but in that moment it was just Bree and Wrigley, no matter who they lost. Bree and Wrigley, you were everything to me — they’re married in my head, haha.
Rachel: For me, this week was about Martin and Louisa on Best Medicine. The writers were more overt than ever about Martin’s feelings for Louisa in this week’s episode. Martin is not an expressive person, except for disdain or impatience, so his efforts to figure out Louisa’s symptoms and help her clearly convey his emotions when he can’t say them. Even with his hemophobia, he braves “The Blood Factory” to get to her. The scene where he asks to be her doctor again, near the end of the episode, plays like a love scene. I was into every second of it. When actors like Josh Charles and Abigail Spencer are performing content like this, it’s a shippers’ dream. I am invested in watching this slow burn continue.
Best Performance of the Week

Raquel: I have to say Mekia Cox again in The Rookie. In this last episode, I felt everything with her. The need to escape, to do anything to avoid thinking about what’s happening. And that way of letting it all out when you feel ready, accepting that problems don’t disappear just by ignoring them. She’s fantastic!
Aracelis: Even though I truly dislike Stephen, and he will go down as one of the most disliked characters in my book, Jackson White really took over that wedding party and played the role incredibly well. We already know Stephen is manipulative and toxic, but in that scene he completely tore everyone apart. Jackson White has truly become someone who can step into and out of a character so effortlessly, and he proved that this episode across multiple scenes. His reaction to finding out he was out of Yale is also an honorable mention. I’d love to see him in more projects after Tell Me Lies — bring on the amazing performances.
Moment that Annoyed Us This Week

Jasmine: The final scene in Episode 3×08 of Tell Me Lies. I feel like Stephen wasn’t punished enough at all for any of his wrongdoings. ESPECIALLY the Macy situation from Season 1. He blew up everyone’s secrets at the wedding and yet he walked away unscathed. At least for him. Lucy annoyed me too because she just can’t help herself when it comes to that jerk. That ending had me saying “You idiot. Why do you let him do this to you?”
Aracelis: I would have to say this week’s episode of The Traitors, when Tara and Johnny switched up at the roundtable. I honestly had the tiniest feeling Rob might have been going home this episode, and then they both changed their minds, which made Natalie look bad. I don’t think Natalie handled it the best, but considering they switched up last minute, I would’ve been upset and reacting emotionally too. What annoyed me the most was Tara bringing Rob into the conversation and then suddenly not being as sure. At this point, the Faithfuls are so blinded by Rob it’s actually frustrating — and it really feels like he (and Eric) are going to win.
(I also feel like I have to mention Chris on Love Is Blind this week. I don’t have enough words for that boy, just know he’s an honorable and not so honorable mention.)
Rachel: When Sharon’s boss in Crime 101 basically told her she was too old to get that promotion to partner she’d been promised. The chauvinistic and ageist a-hole can yeet himself right into the sun. With Halle Berry playing Sharon, it’s barely believable anyway! I’m so glad she lets him have it later.
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “Not a word” “I would never” “I hate you” “I know” – Tim and Angela in ABC’s The Rookie.
Jasmine: “I know that everyone thinks I’m messy, and I am. I drink more than I should but I’m not messy like the rest of this group is. Don’t hurt anyone. I keep my mess contained. I don’t make it anyone else’s….” – Wrigley Tell Me Lies.
Aracelis: “You think you’re gonna get another hot doctor?” — Amber, Love Is Blind.
