9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 13 “Mother’s Boy” sees Buck and Eddie making their way back from Nashville after the Firefighter Games. Or at least they try to make it back. Because everything from the preview to the photos and synopsis makes it clear that it’s not going to be an easy journey.
In the promo for “Mother’s Boy” you see Buck and Eddie driving back home and it seems like they’re having a good time. Mostly. In the car they’re singing together and making it a proper road trip. But in the photos there seems to be a clear tension between Eddie and Buck in the diner.
And then things take a turn for the unhinged when someone runs them off their road. When Eddie wakes up in the hospital he’s told there was no one else in the car when they found him. Then it’s revealed to the audience that someone took Buck and is holding him hostage. Just another day for 9-1-1!
But with Athena, Maddie, and Chimney on the case, it shouldn’t take them long to find Buck right? Also, there’s no way that Eddie is going to stay in that bed and not look for Buck…
