It is no secret that we love and are obsessed with We Were Liars. The first season of the show sent us on a roller coaster ride of emotions. We can’t revisit that season finale because it emotionally destroyed us. Even the thought of what happened sends our emotions into a tail spin.
While we anxiously await the second season we have a little bit of information. Dempsey Bryk has been upped to series regular for the second season. Our favorite boat captain as a series regular makes us so happy.
In the first season of the hit Prime Video show, Bryk’s character of Ebon was introduced as Ebon. Ebon was described as having a “chip on his shoulder” and a hard worker. He’s back on Martha’s Vineyard to make money, not to make friends. He’s not born with a silver spoon spoon, but he is one that definitely wants to stay away from the drama.
But returning to the island not sure how he’ll be able to avoid drama when he’s going to be around the Sinclair family. While we know that Ebon is nothing like the people who summer on the island, him being upped to a series regular – maybe the world will expand beyond the island.
With Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie at the helm we have so much trust in whatever they do. They know the stories, the overall arc, and what will happen.
We can’t wait for season two!
