We watch a lot of TV and movies! So yeah, we’re fangirling over a lot of things! Each week we come together to highlight all the feels they give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Best Scene of the Week

Raquel: I’d like to mention every scene from this week’s High Potential. But I’ll stick with the Morgadec hug—I still can’t get over how Morgan calls him Adam and how distraught Karadec was—and the final scene. Watching Nick bleed out in Morgan’s arms as she tried to comfort him while she screamed for help. It left me speechless.
Jasmine: Ron and Alex having a moment on the stairs to talk before his triple bypass surgery on St. Denis Medical Episode 2×18. Ron is a very private person who doesn’t often share his vulnerability with anyone. His decision to ask Alex to wait with him was his silent way of letting her know he was scared. That’s the most vulnerable we’ve seen him since the show began.
Ashley W.: I may never look at plastic straws or lobster claws in the same way ever again, but the diner scene with Bullseye fighting the Anti Vigilante Task Force in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, episode 4: “Gloves Off” was absolutely fantastic. It was kind of terrifying but somehow more impressive and fun than anything else. Wilson Bethel really shined in the scene, and it was a great way to properly re-introduce Dex into the story and showcase what the character brings to the narrative.
Ship of the Week

Jasmine: Matt and Serena on St. Denis Medical. It feels good to add them again because I’m finally getting my couple!
Rachel: I’m going with Morgadec on ABC’s High Potential. The season finale brought closure to Karadec’s relationship with his ex Lucia, and surprisingly (probably) also put an end to the possible Morgan and Wagner thing. But the most important thing was the way Morgan supported Karadec through the painful process of ending things with Lucia.
The scene where Karadec came to Morgan’s house was a stunning part of their journey toward couplehood. Their hug mirrors the one they had 6 episodes ago when Morgan had a panic attack. And he wipes away her tears?!?!? They aren’t even close to getting together yet, and this is what we get? Top-tier ship. Can’t wait until next season.
Raquel: Everything Rachel said here! Although I’m a little less happy that things between Morgan and Nick are ending so soon. But I’ll say Jamie and Claire on this week’s Outlander. We didn’t get much of them, but they always support each other like no one else.
Ashley W.: I don’t really have ship preferences in Daredevil, but I kind of prefer it that way, because I can more easily appreciate various ships for what they can offer. That said, I found it endearing that Matt Murdock and Karen Page exchanged “I love you”s before Daredevil went out to do his thing in the newest episode of Daredevil: Born Again. It was a soft moment of quiet intimacy amidst the chaotic and crazy totalitarian environment of a Wilson Fisk-controlled New York City.
There is so much fear and anxiety surrounding themselves and the city they both love, so for them to have each other and be in a place where they can rely, support, and love each other is heartwarming. I’m glad they have each other and can acknowledge the sentiment they share, because they need some level of calm and comfort to get through the mess that NYC is in.
Best Performance of the Week

Raquel: Sam Heughan as Jamie in Outlander. He manages to convey, through his gaze, how the character changed his mind and why. He’s brilliant!
Jasmine: I’m going with Zendaya as Emily in The Drama. The film was so unexpected. I went into the film not knowing anything and Zendaya’s performance had so many layers. Her quiet struggle to cope after revealing the worst thing she ever did made me feel for her. I understand what she almost did as a child was a lot for everyone to process but it was obvious she was still in her own way dealing with the trauma of almost making the most horrific choice of her life. The guilt of it was eating her alive once she revealed it and everyone basically turned their back on her and that event was all they could see.
Ashley W.: Wilson Bethel brings such an alluring charm and captivating presence to Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye in Daredevil: Born Again that so many people are rooting for him despite being the person who murdered Foggy Nelson (which was also Vanessa Fisk’s doing but doesn’t make him less guilty), and that says a lot about his talent and care for his character.
Moment that Annoyed Us This Week

Raquel: Dash getting so much screen time in this week’s The Rookie was a shame. It was an episode where Celina should have been the focus.
Jasmine: Rachel. In The Drama. I could not stand her and her never-ending evil eye. If she didn’t want to be at the wedding she could’ve stayed home. Also, she was so nasty to Michael and that’s her husband. He was one of the people I actually really liked in that friend group.
Rachel: When Martin invited his ex over for a drink at the end of the Best Medicine season 1 finale. Yeah, the Martin/Louisa ship can’t get together this early but we still don’t like to see this. Martin’s dog growled at seeing them together and he was speaking for all of us!
Ashley W.: In Abbott Elementary season 5, episode 19: “Trip,” not once did Janine or Gregory even attempt to compromise about transportation for their vacation to the Outer Banks. Even worse, they didn’t even talk things through to understand where each other was coming from and why they felt the way they did. Instead, Gregory made a decision for *the both of them*, completely ignoring Janine and eliminating her voice and input entirely. And then, he got mad about Janine spending *her own money* on plane tickets for the both of them.
I can understand him not liking that she made the decision he would be flying for him, but he didn’t get to dictate how she spends the money she earned — especially when they aren’t even married and seemingly have no joint bank accounts or agreements in place about having money set aside solely for them to spend and use collectively. I expect a healthier, more communicative outcome from them, so their inability to actually talk and figure out a compromise was ridiculous.
Quote of the Week

Jasmine: “I didn’t tell my family I was having bypass surgery today because I didn’t want to worry the people in my family.” – Ron, St. Denis Medical.
Rachel: “Aww, I was looking forward to calling this one Two-bacca!”- Mark on Best Medicine when Martin delivers twins and the first is hairy but the second is not.
Ashley W.: “There was one (lobster) in there that was beautiful. It had, like, blue speckles all along its shell. It made me feel, I don’t know, fizzy inside? … I still ate it, though.” – Oliver in Invincible season 4, episode 6: “You Look Horrible”.
