Chicago Med Season 11, Episode 21 ‘Heaven Help Us’ AKA the season finale, picks up where the last episode left off. This episode mostly feels like setup and payoff at the same time. It has to deal with everything left hanging from the previous episode, while also planting a few ideas that could matter going into Season 12.
Hannah going into labor means Archer can’t really avoid the situation anymore. After ending things with Jennifer because he still had unresolved feelings for Hannah, the finale pretty much forces that conversation to happen sooner rather than later. And we need them to have it too, if we’re honest. So we’re just crossing our fingers that it happens.
On the other hand, Charles and Rabari haven’t finished their personal feud yet. And this series should show us that board meeting where everything will come to a solution…or another. So we’re very excited about this, as well as about Ripley and Lennox. We need to know what happens with all of that!
And then there’s Frost. The episode before already hinted that something bad was coming after the reveal about his father’s condition, so it’s hard not to wonder if the finale is building toward his death. But perhaps Naomi is just what Frost needs right now. We’ll just have to wait and see…
