Heated Rivalry‘s Connor Storrie is coming to Criminal Minds: Evolution next week, and though the show is much more than this guest arc (and you should absolutely be watching anyway), we can’t deny that we’re excited to see Connor flex his acting muscles. Sure, he was enchanting as Ilya Rozanov, but what can we do with a darker role? We can’t wait to find out.
What do we know about his role on the show? Who is he playing? How long will he be around? Here’s all the information you need to know, whether you are a fan of the show from the beginning, or whether you’re going to be watching just for Connor.
Who Is Connor Storrie Playing On ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’?
We don’t know that much about Connor’s role in Criminal Minds: Evolution, but we do know the name of the character he will be playing: Lance Kingston.
The character was briefly seen in the Season 19 trailer, and from context clues, it seems like he might not exactly be a good guy. He’s, after all, in an interrogation room, and he seems less than happy about being interrogated in the first place. Is it a one-off? Showrunner Erica Messer told Us Weekly that Storrie’s character’s “story does have something to do with the big bad of the season, but—without wanting to give much away—that’s all I’ll say.”
Messer also told TVGuide Storrie was originally meant to be in just one episode, but everyone in the show was so impressed with him that his role was expanded. “He was shooting a scene with A.J. [Cook] that I believe made our trailer,” Messer said. “There was such a presence about him, super genuine, super talented — so much so that we expanded his character from one episode to four episodes.”
That still doesn’t give us much, only the certainty that we will see him again after Episode 4, and that his character will be more than meets the eye. But hey
And hey, funnily enough for Heated Rivalry fans, Messer also told Us Weekly that they tried to get Hudson Williams on the show too! “We were like, ‘Is he available?’”
Sadly, the answer was no. “He’s shooting the second season of Heated Rivalry in August, and that’s when we would need them. We tried.”
But next week, we get to see another side of Connor Storrie. That’s very exciting.
