We’re living in Barry’s Bay right now, while sometimes flashing back to Briar University. But mostly living in Barry’s Bay right now and happy living there. Especially because Every Year After is such a heartfelt adaptation that will kick you in the feels.
As with any adaptation, we’re always looking to see where we can find the author of the book that the movie or television show is based off of. We have to admit that we missed Carley Fortunes cameo in Every Year After. Turns out that we watched it a lot, we just didn’t know who it was.
Where she made her cameo was at the suggestion of co-creator Amy B. Harris.
“Amy and I were watching them film, and it was a scene at Sue’s celebration of life, after the funeral,” Carley shared with People. “Everybody’s at the Tavern gathered around, and Amy turned to me, and she was like, ‘You should be in there.’”
It turns out that Fortune is in the season finale, dancing with star Sadie Soverall.
“That was pretty cool,” the author said of the moment. “I loved how the cameo played out with Sadie and I dancing, which was a move of Sadie‘s making… it was really, really special.”
