Boston Blue, the spin-off of Blue Bloods, now has a Season 2 premiere date. And the revelation comes from an eagle-eyed fansite dedicated to the show starring Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green. From what Boston Blue Fans caught on what looks like a commercial that aired on CBS, Season 2 is set to premiere October 9, 2026.

The first season was one of the better finales according to our Fangirlish writer and reviewer Jessica. Season 1 Episode 20 was full of drama with Lena (Martin-Green) getting shot and meeting her biological father for the first time. That last bit was an emotional reunion, and Jessica may or may not have shed some tears.
Season 2 is set to pick up after the shocking finale which saw Lena’s boyfriend Brian getting T-boned. And not just by accident. That was on purpose so we should expect an investigation as to what led to that and who was responsible. We also should expect to see Lena’s journey to recovery after she was shot.
