What’s Anna Pigeon about?
Based on the best-selling novels by author Nevada Barr, Anna Pigeon “is a former city slicker who became a park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever” according to USA Network. While Anna tries to outrun her demons, her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way.
Who is in the cast of Anna Pigeon?
Tracy Spiridakos stars as the lead Anna Pigeon and is also co-executive producer. She is best known for her work as Detective Hailey Upton in Chicago P.D. She is joined by Star Trek star Ronnie Rowe Jr. He’ll be playing FBI Agent Frederick Stanton, a “charismatic wanderer who chases crimes through national parks and keeps his cool, except when it comes to ranger Anna Pigeon” according to USA Network.

They’ll be joined by Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz as Manny López, “a gentle soul and recovering addict, Manny finds peace in the park as an education park ranger”; Paulina Alexis as Zoey Bear Child, “a young ranger coming into her own who considers Anna a mentor”; Tricia Helfer will play Molly Pigeon, “Anna’s older sister and a psychiatrist working in New York”; Jordan Sledz as Zach Redhill, a classically trained actor and Anna’s old flame; Nikki Hallow as Christina Clark, “a park administrative assistant who is a single mom going through a divorce”; Crystle Lightning as Frieda Dierke, the “dispatcher and backbone of the park” according to Deadline; and Kim Coates as Jeremiah Paulson, a wealthy landowner not afraid to break the rules.
And for the Wynonna Earp fans Melanie Scrofano is joining the cast as Bethany Lopez, the wife of park ranger Manny Lopez (Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz), who is working to find her place within the ranger community.

Get to know the rangers!
And a sneak peek too! (Did she just pop her shoulder back in?!)
I look forward to seeing a rendition of the Nevada Barr books…I have them all and I am re-reading one now. Starting in 1975, I was a park ranger for 20 years, 7 of them with NPS. The boat Anna operated in Superior Death was the same type I drove in Glacier Bay. Her details hooked me…I felt like I was her. I love parks and the work of park rangers.
Love the books! Love Tracy S! Can’t wait!
Cannot wait to see this show! Live Tracy S and man the nature scene is going to be amazing
