What is Sunshine Girls About?
According to the synopsis, in Sunshine Girls, “Valley Hills is a perfectly nice California suburb… unless you’re like Olivia, who has lived in New York City her whole life. When her parents split up, Olivia is suddenly the new kid at Valley High, where she meets horse girl Taylor and influencer Riley.
Freshman year comes at them fast, with false starts, first kisses, and family drama — but together these unlikely best friends will find their place in the sun. Rob Fishman and Nuria Anson created and executive produced the series. Elisabeth Rogge, Mary Lambert, and Gavin Laing write and Allex Tarr directs. Brat TV, a division of ZATV, produces. The show will premiere December 2026.
Who is Who in the cast of Sunshine Girls?
The Leads
Alma Marian as Olivia. She is the protagonist of the story. A New York teenager who has lived her entire life in the big city. After her parents’ unexpected divorce, she is forced to move to the suburban environment of Valley Hills, California, having to deal with the culture shock of adapting to a new high school (Valley High) and starting over.
Isabella Fowler will play Taylor. She is one of the first students Olivia meets upon arriving in California. She is described as a “horse girl,” with a passionate personality that loves animals and the outdoors.
Erin Rose Park will be Riley. She is the other key ally that completes the main trio of friends. She is a young woman deeply involved in the digital world and trends, considered an influencer within her school community.
