Sometimes you just need to escape from life and that means different things to different people. For this writer that means doomscrolling and escaping with videos that make me smile. I don’t always find something to watch, but sometimes I do. And this weekend it was Kristen Bell at the Savannah Banana’s game.
The actress popped up in the stands at the game against the Indianapolis Clowns in Denver, singing Princess Anna’s song, For the First Time in Forever. She then sang along with Tony-nominated pitcher Derek Klena singing “Dancing Through Life” from Wicked. Klena had played the role of Fiyero Tigelaar on Broadway.
The team captioned a post of the performance, “The mashup we never knew we needed🤩.”
Our favorite part though? That would be the lift at the end when the two sang (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing.
The actress had just been seen at D23 in Anaheim where she, along with Josh Gad and Idina Menzel debuted a look at Frozen 3.
These kind of things are so fun to watch. Seeing celebrities have fun, but also seeing them live their best lives is a reminder to enjoy life.
