Phoebe Dynevor is entering her horror era in the upcoming film Pendulum.
Starring alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dynevor plays Abigail. Levitt plays her partner Patrick. Both of them journey to a retreat in New Mexico in search of healing. And the first official trailer showcases how A) things aren’t what they seem and that B) theres definitely a supernatural element here.
As they get folded into the group, Abigail falls under the retreat leaders influence. Patrick on the other hand grows skeptical. It gets to the point where they both wonder if the groups practices offer genuine healing or conceal a terrifying truth. And the trailer hints at that darkness lurking in apparitions, unexplainable visions, and what looks like spell work.
Pendulum is directed and written by Mark Heyman. He’s best known for writing the screenplay for Natalie Portman’s Black Swan. And the film also stars Jena Malone, Norman Reedus, Jacki Weaver, and Anna Deavere Smith.
