What Is Women in Blue Season 2 About?
The second season of Women in Blue picks up the things right after Season 1, with María now promoted to lieutenant, putting her in an even more complicated position. She has the authority to make decisions, but that doesn’t mean those decisions are going to be easy.
This time around, María, Valentina, Gabina and Ángeles find themselves investigating the murder of a young student activist. What initially looks like another case soon becomes much bigger when the investigation connects to the 1968 student massacre.
And the deeper Las Azules go, the more disturbing things become.
Another body connected to that brutal chapter of history is discovered, sending shockwaves through the department. At the same time, someone appears to be taking justice into their own hands, leaving Las Azules with the difficult task of stopping a killer while navigating a police system plagued by corruption.
In other words, there is a lot going on.
The season has already started building that mystery piece by piece. Episode 1 introduced María and Las Azules’ new investigation, while Episode 2 revealed an unexpected connection between the first victim and a second one, suggesting that the attacks might be targeted.
By Episode 3, the surviving student activists were being interrogated, and it became clear that one of them was hiding something. Then Episode 4 raised the stakes, with the police believing they knew who was behind the murders of corrupt officers while Las Azules weren’t quite convinced.
And now we’re heading into Episode 5.
What Will Happen in Women in Blue Season 2, Episode 5?
Titled Lozano, the episode will premiere tomorrow, September 9. And, according to the synopsis, fear spreads when another detective goes missing. And while that is already enough to make things more complicated for Las Azules, María is also dealing with something much more personal.
Her night out with her daughter takes an unexpected turn, adding another layer to an episode that already seems packed with tension. And honestly? After everything that has happened so far this season, we’re not exactly expecting things to get easier.
