The new college romance drama series, Icebreaker, is based on the #1 New York Times best-selling novel by Hannah Grace. Netflix today announced Daisy Jelley (Poser, How to Have Sex, Geek Girl) and Connor Simos (Subversion) as Anastasia “Stassie” Allen and Nate Hawkins in the adaptation of the book.

The logline, “She’s the transfer gunning for Olympic gold. He’s the campus star chasing the NHL. Amanda Lasher (Gossip Girl, The Bold Type, Togetherness) will serve as show runner.
The series adaptation was created by Jade Halley Bartlett (Road House, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Miller’s Girl). Author Hannah Grace wll also serve as an executive producer, Alex Cooper, Matt Kaplan, and Mina Lefevre will also serve as exesutive producers under the Unwell banner.
