We’re hesitant to get excited over the reboot of Charmed, because what if we hate it? What if everything’s not perfect? What if it makes us want to cringe and scream and tell the world to stop rebooting things?
There are just so many what if’s.
But that being said, we’re enjoying seeing all the casting that is going on for it. Sarah Jeffery (Shades of Blue), has joined as the youngest Charmed sister. She’ll play Madison, a sorority girl, who would rather spend her time living her Greek Life than spending her time using magic.
We know that’s not going to end very well. You can’t outrun your destiny.
We’re not returning to San Francisco in the reboot. The Charmed ones will live in a college town, and discover “Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.”
Jeffery’s isn’t the first person to be cast on the reboot. She joins Melonie Diaz as Mel and Ser’Darius Blain as love interest Galvin.
