We reported yesterday that Guardians of the Galaxy’s Gamora has been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Infinity War and today Comicbook.com reported that our favorite webbed-hero, Spider-Man will make an appearance as well.
Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland confirmed his role in an interview with Italian magazine, L’Uomo Vogue. The interview has currently only been published in print, but a fragment can be found on the Tom Holland Italy Twitter account.
Comicbook.com translated the interview into English and it says the following:
“The approval for the role in Spider-Man arrives personally also by Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans ‘They who convinced the Marvel: the producers wanted to be sure that I was the right person before entrusting three films over the next four years, including Avengers: Infinity War. ‘”
It will be great to see Peter Parker interact with the other Avengers again, and perhaps play a more central role in the final battle.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in cinemas on April 25, 2018
