EW reports that Daniel Sharman, known for his roles as Isaac Lahey on Teen Wolf and Kaleb/Kol on The Originals, will be joining the cast of Fear the Walking Dead for Season 3. Sharman will be a series regular in the AMC spin-off zombie drama and be in all 16 episodes.
He’s set to play a character named Troy. According to The Wrap, the only thing we really know about Troy is that he will have a “wild temperament” and will be “charismatic with a cruel streak.” There’s no news on what group of survivors he’ll be encountering.
Could he be meeting up with Mercedes, last seen being captured? Nick and Luciana, who were ambushed by soldiers? A reunited Madison and Travis? A destroyed Alicia, still reeling from killing someone? A separated Strand?
Fear the Walking Dead is still filming Season 3 in Mexico. It stars Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Casey, Cliff Curtis, and Mercedes Mason. Robert Kirkman, the writer of The Walking Dead comic book, serves as executive producer for Fear the Walking Dead alongside Greg Nicotero, Gale Ann Hurd, and David Alpert.
Fear the Walking Dead returns Summer 2017 on AMC.
