One of the surprise hits of last year was the absolute joy that was season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow. As we ended the season, time had been damaged by the Legends attempts to fix it. At today’s panel , we learned more of how the Legends plan to fix it, the places in time they will travel and the return of a few friends for season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow.
At the panel, it was revealed that the newly-formed Time Bureau with old captain Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill, now in a recurring role on the show) will butt heads with the Legends. Other things of note mentioned at the panel:
- Damien Darhk is a regular on the series and Captain Cold will be back but a different version of Cold we haven’t seen yet.
- 3×04 will be a trip to the 80’s and Ray’s childhood
- 3×06 will be a “Freaky Friday” episode for Jax and Stein.
- We will see more of flesh and blood Gideon (Hopefully another ‘confrontation’ between her and Rip.
- A planned reestablishment of Sara’s bi-sexuality in season 3 as well.
- New teammate Zari asserting herself from the get-go.
As for the trailer, we get to see the Legends in action at the circus, a very scary view of things to come and a very funny Titanic joke from Mr. Victor Garber.
