Today at the Televisions Critics Association (TCA) Summer 2017 Press Tour, Starz released a new behind the scenes video entitled “Parallel Lives,” from Outlander season three, featuring new footage and cast interviews.
The new clip features a look at Jamie and Claire’s lives apart as they try to make their way back to each other. We see Claire as she raises Brianna with Frank and becomes a surgeon in Boston. While Jamie struggles to piece his life back together at Lallybroch. He continues to see Claire everywhere and pushes everyone close to him away, including Jenny and Fergus.
We also get a glimpse at the aftermath of the Battle of Culloden, Joe Abernathy, Lord John Grey, Brianna and Roger and much more!
Intercut with the new footage, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan discuss what Claire and Jamie have been up to since we last saw them in season 2. They also touch on Jamie and Claire’s relationship and how it’s a bond that will last forever.
