Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode to Headline ‘A Discovery of Witches’

If you know the first thing about us and have been following us for years – you know, we started out with Warm Bodies right after Twilight. You’ll also know that we think that Teresa Palmer is one of the kindest human beings with the biggest hearts. We’d follow her anywhere.

And we have.

We enjoyed the book A Discovery of Witches and now we’re even more excited because Teresa has signed on. WE CAN NOT WAIT.

She isn’t the only person that we’re excited about joining. Matthew Goode – who we have drooled over in The Good Wife and Downton Abbey and who we are looking forward to drooling over in season 2 of The Crown – has also signed on to star.

If you aren’t familiar with the book – the basics are that Teresa’s character, Diana Bishop, is a descendant of the Salem Witch Trials and she ends up dating at 1,500 year old vampire. The vamp is played by Goode.

It’s a Sky Original/Bad Wolf production production that is going to begin production this fall in Wales.

A Discovery of Witches will air on Sky1 and Now TV in the UK and Ireland, but there is no word on where it will air in the USA. We’re gonna need someone to pick it up because this is one that we can’t miss.

Deb Harkness herself made the announcement.

We can’t wait!
