‘Younger’ Renewed For Season 6

The thing about Younger is that when you start watching it, you can’t turn it off. It’s highly addictive, captivating, and just plain fun. This season has just started, but we’ve already gotten great news.

Season 6 is coming.

That’s right – season 6 of Younger is happening and we’re pretty damn excited for it.

“Younger exemplifies romantic comedy at its best and each season the show hits new creative and ratings heights,” said Kevin Kay, president of TV Land, CMT and Paramount Network, who announced the renewal with Keith Cox, President of Development and Production at TV Land, CMT and Paramount Network. “We are honored to continue to work with the brilliant Darren Star and this amazing cast, led by the multi-talented Sutton Foster. The new season is outstanding and we are thrilled for what’s to come for these beloved characters.”

There is not a cast member of Younger that is not super talented. There is not a cast member that doesn’t make you invested in their character and curious to know what will happen next for them.

Based on the novel from Pamela Redmond Satran, with Darren Star (Sex and the City) developing for television, Younger follows Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a 40-something mom who wants to get back into the workforce after her divorce. When confronted with the ageism prevalent in the publishing industry, she lies about her age and pretends to be 26 while working for Empirical Press.

In addition to Foster, Younger stars Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Miriam Shor (GCB), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Nico Tortorella (Scream 4), Molly Bernard (Transparent), and Peter Hermann (Blue Bloods).

Season 5 of Younger premiered last week on TV Land.
