For our third episode of season three, we talk about The CW reboot for Charmed! We want to love this show, we really do, but since episode one it’s been riddled with HUGE problems when it comes to representation. 75% of the time we don’t know if they are Latinx witches, only two of the actresses are actually Latinx, and it’s the fake kind of woke that speaks of a fantasy that white creators (yes, we know the writers room has Latinx writers, but they are not getting the creative control they deserve) have when it comes to Latinx people and our stories.
So without further ado…STOP AND FANGIRL WITH US! And when you’re done, leave a comment here or on our Twitter about what Latinx representation means to you or how you feel about Charmed!
