Hello Dash & Lily.
We’re now moving from holiday movies to holiday series, and we couldn’t be happier!
Netflix has ordered the holiday romantic comedy series Dash & Lily, to launch in 2020. The show is based on Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares from authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.
Just read this synopsis:
A whirlwind Holiday romance builds as cynical Dash and optimistic Lily trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations all across New York City, finding they have more in common with each other than they would have expected.

The show will star Austin Abrams, Midori Francis, Dante Brown and Troy Iwata, with Joe Tracz (from Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events) set as show-runner/writer/EP. Other EP’s will include Shawn Levy and Josh Barry for 21 Laps and Nick Jonas for Image 32.
Yes, we did say Nick Jonas.
Dash & Lily will consist of eight thirty-minute episodes.
Shawn Levy, had this to say about the new show: “The most essential quality of 21 Laps shows and films is heart, and Dash & Lily has that quality in spades. Josh Barry and I are thrilled to be starting production with such an exceptional group of collaborators on and off screen – from writer/showrunner Joe Tracz to our talented directors, incredible cast, and of course, our producing partner, Nick Jonas. This show is inspiring to us and promises to give audiences a uniquely romantic and entertaining New York City holiday adventure.”
