11 Times We Shipped Naley

Always and forever.

Or, at least, that’s how long I’ll ship Nathan Scott and Haley James Scott. The power couple of One Tree Hill, Nathan and Haley have solidified my belief that love exists.

Throughout the nine seasons of One Tree Hill, Nathan and Haley continued to defy the odds and prove that they were meant to be. From the moment they met, to when Haley agreed to tutor him, to when they married before graduating high school, Naley will be the OTP that I will ship until the day I die.

I could list a million reasons why I love these two. Instead, here are just eleven reasons why Nathan and Haley Scott are THE couple to ship.

For all of Nathan’s life, all he wanted to be was a great basketball player. Also, for most of his life, he had his father bullying him about the sport. Haley supported Nathan through every game, good or bad, and he always knew he could count on her.
Their first kiss made my heart explode. It was after Nathan messed up (again) and thought he lost his shot with Haley. But, alas, it was just the start of their relationship filled with many more kisses to come.
When after nine long and dramatic seasons, Nathan and Haley finally got their happyily ever after. To top it all of, it ended with a classic Naley rain kiss.
When there was a time jump going into season 5, Nathan and Haley were not in a good place. But they continued to work throught their problems and mend their relationship, if not for them but also for their son, Jamie.
Nathan and Haley did not have a picture perfect marriage in the beginning. In fact, they almost got divorced. So it melted our hearts when after getting through the worst of it, they decided to renew their vows in front of all their friends and family.
Any time they had cute moments like this in which we could see just how much they loved one another.
Nathan has been known to make some poor choices in the past such as getting caught up in a basketball cheating scandal. But Haley has helped him become a better man and we see that when he finally came to the realization that all he wanted to be was a good father to his son.
After they surprised literally everyone and got MARRIED.
Season nine was a bit of a bummer for Naley as Nathan spent most of the season kidnapped after just welcoming their daughter. But, thankfully, everything worked out and Naley was reunited before the series ended. That hallway reunion still gives me chills to this day.
Nathan and Haley created an unbelievable family. We got to see them transform from high school sweethearts to amazing parents. Honestly, it just made me love them even more.
Literally whenever they had a rain kiss.
