My Twilight heart is so happy right now I could cry.
I am not a fan of a tease, but when it comes to Stephenie Meyer I will deal with almost anything. After all, we waited like 12 years for this one.
It was announced today that she is finally publishing Midnight Sun and no lie – I burst into tears.

Meyer’s long-anticipated novel in the “Twilight Series” retells the love story between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan – from the view point of Edward Cullen.
“This unforgettable tale as told through Edward’s eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting beautiful, mysterious Bella is both the most intriguing and unnerving event he has experienced in his long life as a vampire,” said the publisher, Hachette. “As we learn more fascinating details about Edward’s past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he let himself fall in love with Bella when he knows that he is endangering her life?”
Give me everything.
“The more I wrote, the more I became convinced that Edward deserved to have his story told,” she wrote on her website. “At first I was planning to post it all here on my website, but I changed my mind for two reasons, the most important being that Edward’s version is much longer than Bella’s — Edward over-thinks everything.”
JUST IN: 15 years after the first novel in the “Twilight” saga was released, author Stephenie Meyer is bringing readers back to Forks, Washington, with her new book, “Midnight Sun.” Find the details here: https://t.co/IHD4UfAkkI pic.twitter.com/ZY3ZqnBahG

Give it all to me. Every single detail. Let him overthink. I don’t care. If you want Edward to ramble on about socks for 50 pages, I would read them all.
“I am very excited to finally, finally announce the release of ‘Midnight Sun’ on August 4. It’s a crazy time right now and I wasn’t sure if this was the right time to put this book out, but some of you have been waiting for just so, so long. It didn’t seem fair to make you wait anymore. Sorry about the bad timing. Hopefully this book can be a distraction from the real world,” Meyer said in a message to “Good Morning America.” “I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you.”
Finally something to look forward to!
Midnight Sun will be released, August 4th.
I’m ecstatic! I’ve already preordered it!🙌🤩🥳
