We’re still not sure if we want a Space Force, but at least this Space Force is probably going to make us laugh.
After all, just take a look at this description:
A four-star general begrudgingly teams up with an eccentric scientist to get the U.S. military’s newest agency — Space Force — ready for lift-off. Greg Daniels and Steve Carell of “The Office” reunite for another irreverent workplace comedy.
It is an out there idea (and that’s putting it mildly), so hey, we’re very glad the people behind this show are taking it with as much seriousness as it deserves. Mostly because we all could use a laugh right about now.
Plus no one around here is going to complain about more Steve Carell playing grumpy-but-not really. That’s his sweet spot.
John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz also star, alongside co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow and Don Lake.
