If you’re like me – you’ve put on a few pounds during quarantine and you really don’t give a fuck what anyone has to say about it. You put on your jeans and as long as the buttons aren’t socially distancing themselves from each other – you’re all good.
Chris Hemsworth is going to have to put on some weight and it’s not because of the pandemic, but it’s because of a movie role.
The actor is playing Hulk Hogan (we can’t see it – but hey – whatever) and we’re a little wondering what he’s gonna look like with a severe receding hairline and the platinum blonde hair more than anything.
“This movie is going to be a really fun project. As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor,” he revealed when talking to Total Film.
Now we’ve seen Thor’s guns (aka Chris Hemsworth’s arms) and they are GIGANTIC. How much bigger is Hemsworth gonna get?
“The project is deep in development. Todd Phillips and I met to chat about it maybe a year or two ago. We talked about the idea for the film, which I think was going to be a TV series at one point. There were a few different ideas about what portion of his life it was going to be set in, so we spitballed about what it could be and what I thought it might be. Thankfully, they ran with a few of those ideas and the script is in the process of being written – but Hulk Hogan is still quite a way away,” he continued about the project.
And hey, we’re good with that – cause if I am being honest about my own feelings – Chris Hemsworth and Hulk Hogan isn’t something I wanna see right now. No offense to him or anything, but like Hulk Hogan’s reality TV show and then subsequent sex tape have left enough scars on my psyche.
