It’s been yes and no, one step forward and two steps back for the Lizzie McGuire revival. First Disney+ didn’t like the creative direction the show was taking. Then Hillary Duff asked them to move it to Hulu. And then …nothing.
A whole lot of nothing.
You can’t blame us for thinking this all meant we were never getting new episodes of Lizzie McGuire. But now, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel …or at least, some hope.
In an interview with E! Duff revealed that she’s still in conversations about the show “a couple of times a week, which is really nice.”
That’s not all, though hey, conversations are better than silence. She also added: “We started shooting, and then obviously that got on hold for a couple of different reasons not involving the pandemic. But you know what, I have high hopes that we are going to make it work.”
HIGH
HOPES
“We are being told to have patience, which is good, so I feel optimistic,” she also shared in the interview.
This, of course, means that if we want to see these episodes at some point, it’s time for the fans to get loud, and continue to tell the people in charge how much they want this.
What are you waiting for?
