Leave it to The Haunting of Bly Manor to give us goosebumps with it’s latest trailer! The first time around, the teaser scared us with its creepy moving dolls, lady of the lake, and moaning ghosts. This time around the stakes are higher, the scares are bigger, and what’s to come is more obvious even if still plenty mysterious.
The Haunting of Bly Manor stars a stellar cast with many familiar faces. From Victoria Predetti to Oliver Jackson-Cohen, we’re excited to see the characters they play and the journey they go on. For Predetti’s character we know that she’s an au pair named Dani who cares for two children at a country mansion. Two creepy children, if we’re being honest, that stare off into the distance like they saw a ghost while the other shushes an ACTUAL ghost.
The new trailer gave us more hints to what’s haunting Bly Manor and not all of it is supernatural. Apparently the children of the manor have lost their parents and are experiencing their loss. Dani acts as their new caretaker, someone who knows loss herself, and is being haunted by something mysterious that likes to grab at her waist like an old lover. But it’s something that Dani’s experienced before if her reaction is anything to go by and that’s scary.
T’Nia Miller was also featured in the trailer in an unknown role. What we do know is that she hangs out at Bly Manor as much as Rahul Kohli’s character does. But for some reason, she’s getting someone else’s dreams. Creepily enough she fears the dreams to be from the dead (maybe the lady in the lake?) and that’s a big ol’ nope for us on all fronts. We don’t know much about Kohli’s character but we do know that he’s got an amazing moustache that makes watching The Haunting of Bly Manor essential for 2020!
