Look, a part of me is super sad, I’m not going to deny it. I’ve been waiting for a lot of these movies for what feels like centuries. We have literally been waiting for Disney to give us a Black Widow movie for a decade! And West Side Story? That’s a childhood favorite I’m really looking forward to seeing reboot.
But this is the way, like The Mandalorian would say. This is the right choice. We can all be sad, and angry, and whatever we have to be, and still understand this is for the best.

Black Widow has been pushed back to May 7, 2021, while West Side Story will now release on Dec. 10, 2021.
Plus Death on the Nile moves to Dec. 18 of this year; Eternals to Nov. 5, 2021; Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to July 9, 2021; Deep Water to Aug. 13, 2021; and The King’s Man to Feb. 12, 2021.
Pixar’s Soul is still on the schedule for Nov. 20, though we have a feeling that might be moving to Disney+, because November feels like tomorrow at this point, and the pandemic isn’t going away tomorrow, especially considering how we’re doing nothing to make it go away. So yeah.
