One of the MCU’s most ambitious movies and one of 2021’s biggest movies is coming to Disney+ this month. Whether you caught it in theaters or not, you can enjoy the magic of Marvel Studios’ Eternals from the comfort of your own home on January 12.
The large-scale, superhero-origin story will be available to watch as many times as your heart desires. You can revisit your favorite character beats or action sequence. But, maybe most importantly, we can watch the epic, fan-favorite duo Drukkari in Ultra HD.
Moreover, according to Marvel.com, “Eternals joins 13 other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies now streaming in IMAX Enhanced on Disney+.”

That duo stole our hearts and took the Internet by storm when Eternals premiered in November. None of us was ready for Lauren Ridloff and Barry Keoghan‘s chemistry. Now, we can share their greatness with our loved ones by encouraging them to stream the movie. If Tiktok made edits of low-quality footage, imagine the ones we’ll get now.
The same is true of all the characters and pairing. The Eternals cast is filled with excellent performers who transformed larger-than-life beings into relatable characters. There are so many memorable moments that picking standout performances is challenging.
Chloé Zhao‘s creative and directorial expertise is a sight to see that will not change on a smaller screen. It’s genuinely exciting to know that Eternals being on Disney+ will make the film more accessible to those that couldn’t see it in theaters or want to share it with others.

This movie is the first in a while that feels like an interconnected part of the MCU while standing on its own. The characters interact with concepts and stories familiar to the franchise, but they are not dependent on it. The Eternals are on a different level, literally.
They exist on a much larger scale, making their exchanges with Kit Harington‘s Dane Whitman and [SPOILER ALERT!] Harry Styles’ Eros even more enjoyable. The centuries-long narratives of these characters can interact with a (seemingly) human like Dane and Thanos’ brother.
The places the Eternals can go next, figuratively and literally, are limitless. With an all-star cast like the one this section of the MCU now has, we know that it’s only going to get bigger and better. Hopefully, Marvel Studios knows the passion and talent it has with Chloé Zhao and keeps her on future projects.

No matter what their future may hold, we know we will stream this visually stunning, emotional, character-driven Marvel film the day it drops. Nothing will keep us from the Eternals because we’re emotionally attached now. We love their chaotic and complex family.
If Eternals follows suit with the rest of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ drops, there’s a great chance we will have plenty of behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, and commentary to enjoy as well. Meaning, there is likely an ASSEMBLED episode in our (near) future as well.
All of this Eternals content is especially welcomed since we won’t have a new Marvel project until Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness premieres in May. Of course, that schedule could change, as it seems like it always is, but we will take what we can get for now.
