I love Lucy Hale, but Life Sentence was so bad to me that I watched the first episode and turned off the television. I have always wondered what the fuck The CW has seen in some shows, but that’s neither here nor there.
The creators of Life Sentence are working on a new show that actually sounds interesting, original and as if it would be something I would watch.
The show is called Pandora’s Box & Ship, and I have to wonder if part of this idea came from Percy Jackson.
The show is about, “selfish and sarcastic, Lou Tucker, who is a grifter and her latest scam is stealing from packages at the Box and Ship where she works to make ends meet. But, when she opens a package that contains Pandora’s actual Box, she inadvertently unleashes all of the mythological evils of the ancient world into our modern one. And, unfortunately for humanity, it’s going to be up to her, a bookish Professor of Greek Mythology, and a group of unqualified misfits to put them all back in.”
Creators Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith are writing and will executive produce via their production firm In Good Company with the Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas and iZombie exec producer Dan Etheridge also executive producing.
Pandora’s Box & Ship sounds interesting and I would love to see it if they execute it well. If not, I am sure I would have something to say.
Does it sound like a show you would watch?
