Art has been a part of my life since I was a toddler and it has shaped me in so many ways. But, just like everything else, art is a journey with ups and downs. It is a learning experience and a voyage of self discovery.
I want to take you along in this art expedition of mine, and take a Lifestyle Lift break, and together we can discover what inspires, nurtures, and motivates our creative minds!
A couple of weeks ago I binge-watched “The Queen’s Gambit” on Netflix and I fell in love with the show! I was excited to see both an intelligent, independent woman and a flawed character with depth portrayed on TV.
The show took me by surprise as from the synopsis alone it didn’t seem too appealing to me. I took an interest in watching it because I love Anya-Taylor Joy’s work as an actress and that’s why I gave it a shot.
It’s true what they say about not judging a book why it’s cover because, although this show it’s about something as dense as chess, it is exciting and heartbreaking all at once.
Because I was inspired by this work of art, I decided I wanted to pay tribute with my own rendition of how the show would look like if it were made into a kids cartoon show. This is what happened:
If you could turn any show into a cartoon which one would you choose? Let us know!
