Harry Styles’ motto has always been to “Treat People With Kindness,” and we love him for reminding us to do this because sometimes it’s hard when there are people out there who don’t deserve it. Internet troll Candace Owens is one of those people.

Harry Styles recently graced the cover of Vogue magazine in a dress, and he looked amazing. All we saw was positivity about the cover, at least until Conservative pundit Candace Owens decided to open her mouth. Now, we don’t know why she thought we gave a shit what she thought about Harry’s fashion choice, but here’s what she said:
There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men.
First off, she really needs to shut her mouth. Harry Styles is not the first male musician to wear a dress in a photoshoot (see David Bowie). Also, why go after one of the nicest, most talented artists with such a huge fan base? Our guess is she was lacking exposure and needed a way to get some. Before you say that’s what we’re doing with this piece, it’s not. We are here for Harry Styles and Harry Styles only.
If Harry wants to do a photoshoot in a dress, that’s his prerogative. Mind your business, because it doesn’t affect your life in any way, shape, or form. There are so many other things to be focused on than what Harry wears during a photoshoot. He took it all in stride by posting a picture to his Instagram from his latest shoot with Variety magazine for their Hitmakers issue. In the photo he’s wearing a flowy pantsuit and eating a banana. The caption simply states:
Bring back manly men.
We knew Harry had seen the post from she that shall not be named, and like every Harry fan out there including us, we all wanted to know if he was going to respond. Harry is a class act and he took the high road with this moment. He lived by his “Treat People With Kindness,” motto and that’s perfectly fine. A troll, is a troll, is a troll. No matter what we do or say, a troll is always going to troll. All we know is Harry’s always got our support.
What are your thoughts on how Harry Styles handled this situation? what would you have done? tell us in the comments.
