We love a new casting of a book that we love. When it happens we start imagining what it will be like when it comes to life and if it will be everything that we want it to be.
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight has cast its love interest lead, Ben Hardy is ready to be the romantic lead starring opposite Haley Lu Richardson in the adaptation.
Rob Delaney, Dexter Fletcher, Sally Phillips and Jameela Jamil have also joined the cast.
If you aren’t familiar with the book, it takes place over a 24 hour period when Hardy and Richardsons characters are flying from New York to London.
The logline reads, “is it misfortune or fate that separates them when they land? The probability of ever finding each other again seems impossible, but love — and London — may have a way of defying the odds.”
Rob Delaney will star as Hadley’s (the character played by Richardson) father, who had moved to London after his divorce. Dexter Fletcher will play Oliver’s Dad. Sally Phillips will play Oliver’s Mom and Jameela Jamil will be the stories narrator.
The script is penned by Katie Lovejoy and will be directed by Vanessa Caswill. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight is currently in production in London.
