I think that one of the things that I love about Lana Condor is that she’s adventurous with her roles. She’s not afraid to take on any role and that makes me inspired by her.
Not to mention she is a phenomenal actress.
The actress announced on her new role. She has signed on to star and executive produce an eight-episode limited comedy series for Netflix, entitled Boo, Bitch!.
Personally that’s my favorite title ever.
The series, “revolves around a high school senior, who has lived her life safely under the radar, who seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life only to find out the next morning that she’s a ghost.”
I admit that the first I thought that ghost meant that no one knew who she was and so she felt like a ghost. I didn’t think the whole deceased angle, but I was kindly (or not) corrected by some friends that they meant the whole deceased angle.
Tim Schauer and Kuba Soltysiak came up with the idea and it’s been given a new take by On My Block showrunner Lauren Iungerich and Erin Ehrlich (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). Ehrlich and Iungerich will serve a co-showrunners.
What do you think of the idea of Boo, Bitch!? Are you excited to see the show?
