Lana Condor has a new movie and we’re kinda all excited. Look, I will be honest with you, I haven’t seen her in anything besides the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before films and that’s okay. Because she’s a part of a fandom I love, and that means that I will watch whatever she is in.
The actress, who I think is amazing, has booked a new role and I’m already counting down the days to see it. Of course you know, it needs to film and all that first.
The actress has books the lead role in the upcoming movie, Moonshot.
“Moonshot is set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer. Two very different college students wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others. Condor will star as focused and buttoned-up college student, Sophie. She is a woman with a plan — or at least, she was before her boyfriend Calvin moved to Mars, and she decided to go after him.”
Like can I start with this – I have moved for a man before and that shit would never happen again. Like moving across the country is one thing, moving to a new planet? Hard pass. But am I willing to watch a movie about it?
YES.
Chris Winterbauer will direct the project, with Max Taxe set to write the screenplay. The genius Greg Berlanti is set to produce.
The project is being made for HBO Max. Berlanti Productions previously signed for a four film deal with HBO Max. This will fall under that deal, with Unpregnant being the first film under the deal.
Does this sound like something you will watch?
