Now that WandaVision is over, it’s time to start thinking about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And from the latest promo it really does seem like this show is going to be all about Sam and Bucky’s friendship – or lack thereof.
“We’re not a team” Bucky says, at some point in this trailer, and he’s lying, not just to himself, but to Sam, who nonetheless agrees. And yet they look like a team. No, they almost look like …friends.
Imagine that.
The joke continues, of course. They’re not a team “or partners,” so they, of course, have to find a word.
“Coworkers” Sam says, and it seems like they both agree. Except we kinda don’t, and we get the sense that, by the time the series is over, they’ll be looking for a new word.
